Clean and comfortable beds. The kitchenettes have absolutely no utensils, pots or dishes so don't rely on this feature if you wish to cook in. The mgr adjusted our bill due to them not having this feature in place
Came from Quebec! The rooms are nice but our blankets were stained with something and the bed didnt look clean. The beds can fit 3 people. The whole check-in and check-out process was smooth. The location of the motel is great! There's alot of restaurants and stores. Free coffee and free ice! Overall great rest stop, just cleanness is a small issue
Stayed at Motel 6 Sault Ste. Marie and found it better than most standard motels. This is my second time staying at a Motel 6 franchise, and both experiences have been great. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a quick stopover. If you don’t mind that breakfast isn’t included and just need a cozy, budget-friendly place to stay overnight, this is a solid pick.
Room was clean and spacious. Had a little trouble getting the TV to work. Staff was helpful in this regard. Needed to get access the proper input. Despite a busy road nearby, the room was relatively quiet and dark at night. The heater/a/c unit was easy to adjust and quiet when operating. Good restaurants and fast food nearby. City transit bus stop is in front of the motel. Bathroom was clean. Only downside is that there is no handicapped railing or handles either in the bath tub or for the toilet. The toilet seat was only 14 inches off the floor. Any tall person who has bad knees or is handicapped would struggle to get on and off the seat. I had to grab the inside of the nearby bathroom sink to brace myself getting off and on the toilet seat. It was bit of a challenge to do my business.
A special shout-out to Subhash, who truly went the extra mile to rescue us after we locked ourselves out of our room. His friendly demeanor and good sense of humor set a perfect tone for our stay.
This was my first stop on my way to Alberta from Toronto with my dog. The room was clean and the staff are nice. The only problem I had was that there was no elevator. We were just on the 2nd floor but it’s hard if you have a lot of stuff + a dog. But still giving it 5 stars cause they’re pet-friendly, the room was clean, and no complaints with the service.
No microwave in room. All they had was complimentary coffee, nothing else. Entrance needed to be better graded as was high( not properly plowed.
Conveniently located along the highway (assuming you are travelling by car) with nearby food options. Not particularly central or scenic though. Friendly and efficient service, and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accommodations (not like the motels I remember going to as a kid!). Microwave and coffee only available in the lobby. For the price, no complaints!
